The view, in motion.

Breakfast on the balcony, with the Sé Cathedral in the background — the view you get every day.

The same view from the balcony. After sunset.

The Sé Cathedral is lit up every night, in direct view from the balcony and living room. These photos are shown exactly as taken — unedited — on a full-moon night over Porto's historic centre.

No filters. What you see is what you get.

The living room and the balcony open directly onto the Sé and the Douro. It's the one space in the home built around the view — and built properly.

The bedrooms, by contrast, are a retreat. Facing the interior of the block, shielded from street noise and light. Ideal for sleeping well and working with focus, even in the heart of Porto.

Social zone — living room + balcony

Direct view of the Cathedral and the Douro river. Living, TV, dining and work by natural light.

Rest / work zone — interior bedroom + +1 space

Facing the interior of the block — quiet, dark and private, for sleep or focused work.

View over the Cathedral and the Douro river, with the river clearly visible in the distance among the rooftops of the historic centre
THE VIEW — CATHEDRAL AND DOURO RIVER
Main bedroom with an open window over the historic centre's rooftops
MAIN BEDROOM — TUCKED AWAY, WITH A VIEW

Quiet in the historic centre.

Main bedroom. Its window opens onto the interior of the block rather than the street, with natural light and a calm view over the rooftops of the historic centre (photo alongside, and more in the gallery below) — no direct traffic noise, no streetlight through the curtains at 3am, no sounds of Porto's nightlife drifting in.

Second bedroom (interior). Fully interior for maximum privacy and calm — natural light filters in through glass blocks set high on the wall, without ever exposing the room to the street. It's the darkest, most silent room in the home: ideal for deep, uninterrupted sleep, jet-lag recovery, or shift work.

For remote professionals, or anyone seeking real rest in a lively historic centre, it's a deliberate design: the view lives in the living room and on the balcony; privacy and silence live in the bedrooms.

What guests say

Told by someone who's lived here.

"I'm a chef by trade, so the kitchen was the first thing I noticed — very well equipped, I could cook properly, like at home. The three of us, me, my wife and our daughter, came for a one-month stay, and we felt at home from day one. The building has a genuinely family-friendly and secure atmosphere, which put us at ease with our daughter around, and the central location meant we could walk almost everywhere."

— Emmanuel S., Switzerland · Chef, family stay, 1 month

"I came to Porto for a remote project I knew would run a few months, so I chose to stay for 4 months instead of moving around. It was the best decision — I had a fixed workspace, stable internet for a day full of video calls, and within a few weeks the apartment and the neighbourhood already felt like mine. The central location helped a lot: I could walk almost everywhere, without relying on Ubers or public transport."

— Guilherme M., Brazil · Digital nomad, 4-month stay

"I work remotely and depend on stable video calls every day — the internet never dropped, even during longer meetings. The third floor is quiet, well away from street noise, and my coffee breaks on the balcony, with the Sé and the Douro right there, became my favourite part of the day during my month here."

— László, Hungary · Digital nomad, 1-month stay

When it makes more sense than the alternatives.

This isn't the right choice for everyone — it's the right choice for anyone who wants a stable base for 1 to 11 months in central Porto, without the rigidity of a long lease or the price instability of a tourist booking.

The questions that usually come up before booking.

Is the minimum stay really 1 month?

Yes. We accept stays between 1 and 11 months. Exact check-in and check-out dates are arranged by message.

How much does it cost per month?

€2,400/month for stays of 1 to 3 months, €2,250/month for 4 to 6 months, and €2,100/month for 7 to 11 months — no surprises once the contract is signed.

What's included in the price?

High-speed Wi-Fi, air conditioning, a fully equipped kitchen, bed linens and towels, condo fees, and water/electricity/internet up to a reference value of €100 per month (normal use).

Are water and electricity included?

Yes, water, electricity and internet are included in the rent up to a reference value of €100 per month, for normal use. If consumption is much higher than average, the difference may be settled separately.

How does the deposit work?

A 1-month deposit is required, tied to the written lease agreement. The apartment's condition is recorded with dated photos at check-in and check-out, so the deposit return is documented rather than your word against ours.

Do I need to sign a contract?

Yes. The contract is signed by both parties before the keys are handed over, including the owner's tax ID.

Can I see the apartment before deciding?

Yes, at no cost. We do a WhatsApp video call at your own pace, so you can walk through the apartment in real time before you have to pay anything.

How do I know the owner is who they say they are?

The owner's tax ID and identification document are shared before any payment — you can (and should) ask for them without hesitation.

Is this a tourist rental (like Airbnb / short-term)?

No. It works as a traditional residential lease — with a written contract, a deposit, and a 1-month minimum stay — not as a per-night tourist booking.

What payment methods are available?

Bank transfer (recommended, no fees, SEPA/IBAN), PayPal/card (standard processor fees — link coming soon), and MB WAY (no fees, Portuguese accounts only, on request).

Does the building have an elevator?

No. The apartment is on the 3rd floor, with private access and no elevator.

Where exactly is the apartment?

Rua de São Bento da Vitória, 52, in Porto's UNESCO World Heritage historic centre, a few minutes' walk from Clérigos Tower, Jardim da Cordoaria and Porto Cathedral.

How do I get to the airport?

By metro (Line D to Trindade, then Line E), about 28 minutes to the Airport; or by bus 601/602, direct from Jardim da Cordoaria, ~3 minutes' walk away, from 5:30am to midnight. There's also the 3M night bus for early-morning arrivals or departures.

Do you accept pets?

[TO CONFIRM] — each case is considered individually. Ask us on WhatsApp before booking.

Can I host guests or more people during my stay?

[TO CONFIRM] — tell us about your specific situation on WhatsApp before booking.

Can you issue an invoice for tax or company purposes?

[TO CONFIRM] — if you need an invoice for your company or for tax purposes, confirm with us on WhatsApp before booking.

Can I extend my stay once I'm already there?

Talk to us in advance so we can confirm availability — an extension isn't automatically guaranteed, but we always try to accommodate when possible.

What documents do I need to have ready to book?

A valid ID document for the contract. We also recommend having your current address details and, if applicable, proof of income or your company's details — ask us for the exact requirements on WhatsApp.

Ask about availability, no commitment.
